The participant

He is a frontline community worker in Kunming. His core work is human care: checking on premature-infant families, helping residents apply for support, and arranging visits for older people living alone.

The contradiction

Every meaningful interaction produced more records, forms, plans, budgets, progress reports, financial logs, and close-out documents. Five to six hours a day went to paperwork, leaving less time for the people the role exists to serve.

What he built

Using an AI development system and Coze, he built a web application in one hour. It covers seven common community-governance project types and the complete lifecycle from needs assessment and planning to budgeting, execution, documentation, and close-out.

Users enter project information once; the system generates structured plans, maintains records during delivery, and prepares final materials without reconstructing history at the end.

Expected impact

The system is being refined. Once fully operational, daily paperwork is expected to fall from five or six hours to less than one, returning four to five hours for calls, visits, and direct support.

Why it matters

The value of AI here is not replacing a caring professional. It removes repetitive administration so that work requiring empathy and human presence receives more attention.
