With so many models, each consultation took at least 30 minutes and results varied with the salesperson’s expertise. An external team quoted ¥50,000–¥80,000 and two to three months to build an online assessment system.
Using Coze and an AI coding platform, she mapped decision factors such as budget, usage, range, charging access, brand preference, and desired features. She then imported partner vehicle data into a knowledge base and built a workflow that returns recommendations, reasons, comparisons, and an order link.
Customers now complete the assessment by phone in three to five minutes. The complete product went live in under one week, built around her normal business schedule.
She sold the system to other electric-vehicle businesses in Qujing and elsewhere in Yunnan, generating more than ¥100,000. Avoiding external development saved another ¥50,000–¥80,000.
Consultation time fell from roughly 30 minutes to 10, and the showroom reported an estimated 40% increase in conversion after launch.
