From real problem
to usable product.

Problems, process, and results are preserved so one practice can become reusable evidence.

01

The participant

He is a Kunming-based second-year university student with no programming or product-development experience. While preparing for future recruitment, he saw how difficult résumé writing was for his classmates.

02

The opportunity

Students were submitting generic, poorly structured résumés without understanding why applications failed. At the same time, employers increasingly used automated applicant-tracking systems, meaning a résumé had to pass AI screening before a human ever saw it.

03

What he built

With an AI coding platform, he created a service where users upload or paste a résumé. The system identifies formatting problems, missing keywords, vague experience descriptions, and lack of role targeting, then generates specific improvements and a revised version.

He also added an applicant-tracking-system simulation so users can see an estimated screening score and the issues most likely to cause rejection.

04

Launch and results

He priced the service at ¥99 and promoted it through class groups, campus social channels, and student networks. It launched within one week of the workshop and has served dozens of paying users.

Because analysis and rewriting are automated, the platform can serve more users without a matching increase in his time or operating cost.

05

Why it matters

The case demonstrates a genuine one-person-company model: a non-technical student identified a local problem, launched a working product, charged for it, and automated delivery.
