From real problem
to usable product.

Problems, process, and results are preserved so one practice can become reusable evidence.

01

The participant

He is a Kunming public-sector employee and the father of a third-grade child. He had never coded, developed software, or built a product.

02

The challenge

Third grade is a major step up in difficulty. Traditional worksheets caused conflict, knowledge was scattered across subjects, parents struggled to explain concepts, and short periods such as school travel or ten minutes before bed were wasted.

03

What he built

Rather than another question bank, he designed nine game-like features across exam preparation, interactive play, and parent support. They include sprint revision, error analysis, ten-minute review, competitive dictation, mnemonic generation, visual word-problem breakdowns, and random writing prompts.

The principle was simple: children open a game, but complete meaningful revision while playing.

04

Build and testing

Using the workshop’s no-code AI tools, he produced the first mobile- and desktop-friendly web version in roughly 30–60 minutes. His child became the first user, followed by classmates testing competitive features.

05

Next step and lesson

The product is in internal testing. After validating learning outcomes, he plans a paid launch and may explore cooperation with teachers. The case shows that lived experience can be better demand research than a market report—and AI can turn that insight into a product in an hour.
